I'm about to take a week off work - a daunting prospect. When the other day I was out of mobile phone contact at a customer's site from 9.30am until 5pm I had 47 unread e-mails and 6 missed calls! Imagine how many there will be after a whole week...
Actually it's not the sort of holiday I would normally take: a long weekend at home, three days in London seeing the sights, and another long weekend at home. I need some "me" time though, and this will give it me, at least the time at home will. My step-daughter, who is 14, has not looked around London before so we're going to pack in as much as we can into 3 days, staying in a hotel somewhere near Crystal Palace.
We = me, my wife, my step-daughter and our ten-month-old son.
